A few years ago I got a free subscription to adobe photoshop and I discovered the art of editing images. I started with some very disturbing and weird editions, like a lot of people do. For instance I photoshopped a kiwi head on a donkey or I gave a kiwi eagle wings to fly (my life was very Kiwi themed at that time!).
My obsession with water colour painting started in my childhood. I even went to classes to learn how to paint but was sent home 2 days into the course with a note telling my parents to '...not send me back...and that I had no skills...' So with all this time I had on my hand, I tried some editing on my own photos to make them look like watercolours. This Tui (Prosthemadera novaeseelandiae) from New Zealand on a flax flower is my first ones. This are beautiful but vicious passerine with incredible voices.
My next few tries were animals, but mostly birds, I had encountered during my research, travel and job. Check them out below.
I have a few more in the works and a few I am not very happy with. To check them out, please visit the digital art gallery. :)
So hopefully as time goes on, I can add more to the work here and the album in our galleries page.
